"I met Janine while taking yoga classes at a studio near my home. I was so impressed with her ability to adapt her classes to each participant so that everyone in class, no matter their ability or age, would get the most out of the experience. Whether you want strength, balance, flexibility, calmness of mind or happiness, I found all of those things offered by Janine. She also has a soothing voice and an encouraging, non-judgmental attitude.
In 2015, I got permission to have a yoga class taught by Janine in my office for our employees and others in the building. Janine agreed, and teaches for us once a week on Mondays at lunchtime. The others who take these lunch classes are so happy and grateful, and have told me it increases their ability to concentrate and do their best for the whole week. The group has included women and men, and the age range has been people in their 20s to "still alive and working." We have all body types and all different issues, but the practice makes us all more supportive to each other and our work.
As for my own benefits, I am in a stressful but rewarding job, and am not so young. Janine helped me develop a home practice when certain joints were having problems, and helped me learn breathing and stretching techniques that are better for me than anything.
